I have a 2001 ford mustang GT, where is the EGR valve located? (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve?

Is your CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on? What code did you get? EGR EXCESSIVE FLOW? If you got an EGR code, the most common problem with these is the DPFE sensor. The EGR valve is a flat canister bolted to the side of the intake with a metal tube going down to the exhaust. Somewhere on that tube you will see two small tube going up to a sensor. That sensor is the DPFE.
