I have a 2001 ford mustang GT, where is the EGR valve located? (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve?

if it is a 4.6 it is iat the back of the intake, very hard to get to also|||It's in the engine compartment, open the hood and you will see it, use the new one as a guide.|||Why do you need to know? Is your CHECK ENGINE LIGHT on? What code did you get? EGR EXCESSIVE FLOW? If you got an EGR code, the most common problem with these is the DPFE sensor. The EGR valve is a flat canister bolted to the side of the intake with a metal tube going down to the exhaust. Somewhere on that tube you will see two small tube going up to a sensor. That sensor is the DPFE.
