What is wrong with my 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

The Malfunction Indicator Light is on in my car. I'm getting a code of Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circiuit High. Has anyone ever had this happen to their car or know how to fix it without bringing it to the dealership. They tell me it needs to be on their computer, but I'm looking for a cheaper route.|||Begin by checking your fuel filter and in addition make sure that nothing is hosed up in your muffler or exhaust. After these things are checked/changed (if neccesary), disconnect your battery for about a minute to reset all faulty/check engine lights(doing this means resetting your clock, radio stations, etc.). If the problem persists, then run diagnostics through the computer. Just trying to give you a few pointers before you go the expensive route. Hope this is helpful and good luck!|||i own a repair shop,and they told you right ,,it will have to be hooked up,and running to find this problem with it,,other wise you may wind up spending a lot of un-necessary money on it,,id just take it to them,,and let them find and repair it,,and be done with it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.|||%26lt;%26lt;What is wrong with my 2000 Dodge Intrepid?%26gt;%26gt;

Pretty much everything... no pun intended.|||is time to trade your car for a toyota.|||that is correct all vehicle manufacturers have their own passwords take to dealer have cod read//repaired// reset//goodluck|||It may be a real problem or it may be a faulty indicator light. The only way to find out is to take it to the dealer or another reputable shop and have it checked out on the computer. trying to fix it yourslef will most likely end up costing you far more.|||Sounds like an "EGR" valve to me..
