My daughter's 2005 1700D Lupo has recently been illuminating the starter plug light well after the temp ......?

......has been reached . The only code showing is P0489. Could someone point me in the right direction, to save time? On looking it up it appears to be: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit Low

Possible causes are air leaks in Egr vacuum lines ,faulty lambda sensor or low or high fuel pressure.








Sorry i cant help much but with out seeing the vehicle it is difficult in diagnosing this kind of fault.
